Medication for depression 'like a magic drug' - The Middletown Press : Serving Middletown, CT
NEW HAVEN (JRC) — An anti-depressant medication that starts working within hours of first taking it is “like a magic drug,” according to Yale researchers.
Ketamine, which has been found to relieve depression even among patients for whom other drugs don’t work, is quick acting and restored connections in brain cells of rats studied, according to a press release.
“It’s like a magic drug — one dose can work rapidly and last for seven to 10 days,” said Ronald Duman, professor of psychiatry and pharmacology at Yale. Duman is senior author of the study, published today in the journal Science.
As long as a decade ago, Connecticut Mental Health Center researchers found the antidepressant qualities of ketamine, which is used as a general anesthetic for children, the release said.
Ketamine relieves symptoms of depression in almost 70 percent of patients who resisted treatment with other antidepressants, but it must be given intravenously and can cause short-term psychotic symptoms in some patients, the release said. It has also been used as a recreational drug, known as “Special K” or sometimes just “K.”

Never let me down again
Well, here I am wasting time on blogger again, ditching my responsibilities and procrastinating on the things I need to get done;
I found this video on Youtube about 3 years ago, I had never heard this version of the song before, and then I keep looking at the girl in the video, I was oddly attracted to her, she has not posted much in the last three years, I wonder where she went, I wrote to her on YT and she never replied.........

Asia Argento's - Scarlet Diva
I'm not sure what this is, I've read here:
Asia Argento’s Scarlet Diva tells the semi-autobiographical story of an actress drugging and fucking her way across Europe. Shot entirely on digital video, its formal sloppiness is matched only by the frenzied lunacy of its storyline. This is a bona fide cri de coeur from a first-time filmmaker, naïve, strident, and (unintentionally) hilarious.
